Obtain an As-built of existing septic or OWTS
When submitting for a Septic/Onsite Wastewater Treatment System (OWTS) permit, plans are received and approved by the Department of Environmental Health (DEH). After the installation of the Septic/OWTS, changes may be made to the original design, which are then documented on a Septic/OWTS As-built. The As-built reflects the most accurate sizing and location of the installed Septic/OWTS.
To obtain an As-built of the Septic/OWTS, please submit a public records request. Please include the following information in the request:
- Property Address
- APN (Assessor’s Parcel Number)
- Requestor’s Contact Information
- Name
- Phone Number
Please allow up to 10 days for processing all requests. Responses will be sent via e-mail (unless otherwise requested).
