  • Sale of tobacco products to consumers without a valid permit
  • Sale of prohibited tobacco products or other violation of the Tobacco Retailer Permit Municipal Codes or Ordinances 

We investigate these issues only if they occur in these areas:

  • Unincorporated areas of Santa Clara County
  • The town of Los Gatos
  • City of Palo Alto
  • City of Cupertino

We only investigate noise pollution in County's unincorporated areas. Describe the following:

  1. The noise pollution source.
  2. The noise in detail (e.g., loud screech, whine, grind, bang, music, etc.).
  3. The frequency in which the noise is occurring (e.g., sporadically, continuously).
  4. The dates and times of the occurrences.
  5. The background noise at your location (e.g., freeway, animals, truck traffic, crickets, etc.) and list anything that you believe could interfere with measuring the primary noise.
  6. Any other information that would assist us in investigating the issue (e.g., a specific pattern of occurrence or schedules that can be replicated during a monitoring event)

 

For example, name the business where problem occurred.

The business or place must be located in Santa Clara County California for DEH to take action. 

For example, the address of a business or a description of the location.
